A2A slips 2% onto its 100-week average in a third straight weekly decline
Our view last week
In A2A's weekly bar sellers were extremely dominant: buying stayed below 25% of volume and the stock slipped 1.2%, its second straight decline after being turned away in the 2.38 area seven days ago. A2A stock is still boxed into a very tight band, between the daily Kumo floor in the 2.30 area and the 7-day low in the 2.27 area, on contracting volume. Technical analysis still shows a live buy signal, while the price action says the trade setup is losing push.
This week's summary
A2A lost 2% for a third straight weekly decline: last week's tight corridor gave way to the downside and the price now leans on the 100-week moving average, in the 2.24 area. A2A stock stays on a fading buy signal, one of the weekly buy signals to watch among Italian stocks, with contracting volume and weekly money flow below zero after 14 positive weeks. Price closed below the first stop level (SL1) flagged in last week's card (2.25 area): for anyone following that level the trade is closed. The close and the Inversion Point, in the 2.25 area, have already crossed with no change of sign declared: one to watch in the coming sessions.
