Adobe gains 4.3% as tech stocks weaken
Adobe climbs 4.3% while the tech sector pulls back
Our view last week
Adobe stock closes the week down a slight 0.4%, after five higher lows carried the price from the 211 area up to the 255 area. It's a split-screen technical analysis: on the daily chart sellers dominate the tape, but money flow stays positive and the weekly MACD is improving. The buy signal, which fired four weeks ago, is now up 11.3% and has already hit the first target of our model, with the stop already above breakeven.
This week's summary
After closing last week slightly lower, Adobe stock bounces back with a 4.3% weekly gain, buyers controlling 75% of daily volume and money flow back on the buy side. The weekly technical analysis still shows some caution — contracting volumes, mixed rejection candles — while the price sits pinned between the 7-day high, in the 277 area, and the daily pivot, in the 274 area. The buy signal, now in its 5th week, is already up 16%.
