Amazon gains 1.1% but money flow keeps sliding deeper into selling

Amazon technical analysis: a price action setup stuck in a stalling range this week, worth a look for swing trading — up a modest 1.1% as money flow keeps sliding into selling, ahead of the next quarterly earnings print.

Amazon stalls as money flow keeps weakening
Our view last week
Amazon is in week 5 of a sell signal, and the week just closed gained 4.3%, with buying volume back in the majority at 56%. The underlying technical picture still reads more like a decline losing steam than a reversal: the MACD histogram turned negative again after two weeks above zero, and the CMF slipped back into selling territory. Quarterly earnings are approaching, expected in three to four weeks.
This week's summary
Amazon closed the week up a modest 1.1%, its second straight gain after last week's 4.3% bounce — but money flow, still positive just three weeks ago, keeps sliding into selling territory and momentum keeps worsening. Price stays boxed between the 243 area and the 246.9 area: the technical picture reads as a stalling phase.
