Our view last week
The DAX 40 — the ETF tracking the German index — came back to knock on its all-time high and was firmly turned away: price has slipped more than 4% below the peak and the trade's gain is now barely above breakeven. On the daily, buyers still own the tape, yet our indicators point to a rally that's largely spent: Signal Strength is low, the primary scenario leans lower, and the quality band advises against fresh entries.
This week's summary
The DAX, an ETF tracking Germany's DAX 40 index, has been in a buy for 14 weeks yet shows only +1.24%: rejected at the all-time high, it now works about 3% below. The daily, though, is fighting back, with a double bottom in the 224 area and buyers dominating the tape. The weekly signals stay tired: MACD histogram falling, price action cooling, the model's scenario tilting lower and the quality band advising against fresh entries. A mature uptrend, to be walked along with the stop.
