Dell Technologies: the rally loses steam
Our view last week
This week Dell accelerates with a 10.3% surge and buyers are back in charge: 62% of volume on the buy side, against just 26-37% over the previous 3 weeks, when sellers were in command. The weekly RSI still sits at 81, in extreme-strength territory, and the price action flags an exhaustion picture. In its 19th week of management, the trade is running more than 190% in profit, with price boxed between the 440 area and the 416 area.
This week's summary
After the surge two weeks ago, Dell Technologies is pulling back again: the stock shed 8.9% this week and sellers are back in charge, with 70% of volume on the sell side. The weekly RSI stays high at 70.7, but it's already down from last week's extremes - the persistent-overbought signal we flagged is starting to play out. On the daily chart a clean double bottom still holds in the 363 area, with a 30% intermediate rebound.
