Generali, trade under management at +19.5%
Our view last week
Generali closed the week with a 3% bounce off its daily 20-day moving average, and buyers took back control: 88% of volume on the buy side versus 83% on the sell side the week before. The weekly RSI has settled at 70, the ADX keeps climbing confirming the trend still holds, and price stays boxed between the daily VWMA, in the 42.3 area, and the daily pivot average, in the 42.06 area. The trade has been open for 14 weeks and sits 17.66% in profit.
This week's summary
Generali shares closed the week with another 1.6% advance, and buyers stayed firmly in charge: 97% of volume was on the buy side. The stock hit the wall in the 43 area twice though - the 7-day high and the daily upper Bollinger Band - without breaking it, a clean rejection that slowed the push. The weekly ADX keeps climbing and money flow strengthened, but the price action also flags contracting volumes: the trend still holds, the push just a touch softer.
