IDEV: up 1.7% this week as buyers retake control on the 20-day bounce

IDEV technical analysis, the international developed markets ETF: buying volume climbs back to 73% and price bounces off the 20-day moving average, though the trend stays weak and the historical highs remain a real hurdle for a fresh entry.

Our view last week
IDEV technical analysis, the international developed markets ETF: the trend keeps losing conviction, with the weekly ADX down to 12.1 from 14.6 four weeks ago. Price still holds its ground, though, closing nearly flat this week (+0.1%) and boxed between resistance in the 89.1 area and support in the 88.9 area, while the daily chart still shows the double bottom formed in the 88 area. The open position stays up 1.31%, with the stop now at breakeven.
This week's summary
In the international developed markets ETF, buyers take back control this week: buying volume climbs to 73%, up from 34% two weeks ago, and price bounces off the daily 20-day moving average, in the 89 area, recovering 2% from the touch. Last week's double bottom in the 88 area held, and that support is still holding. Weekly RSI at 58.6 stays far from any extreme, and the ADX, flat at 12.1, says the trend still isn't accelerating. The open position is up 3.02%, with the stop already at breakeven.
