European industrials ETF, first pause in four weeks
EXH4 slips 2% after four weeks of gains, but the ADX keeps climbing
Our view last week
EXH4, the European industrial goods ETF, closed the week up 0.9%, a shorter stride than the 2.6% gain of the week before, with the price still sitting near its highs. Price action flags three points of caution - contracting volumes, softer candle bodies, buyers losing some dominance - yet CMF, MACD and ADX keep improving. The buy signal is now in its 18th week, with the trade near +10% since entry.
This week's summary
EXH4, the European industrial goods ETF, snapped four straight weeks of gains with a 2% pullback: after last week's three warnings, price action now flags two, with sellers back in slight control of the last bar. Price is boxed in between the support of the 20-day moving average and the resistance of the daily Bollinger Band, only a few tenths of a percent apart. The ADX, though, keeps climbing, a fourth straight week: the underlying trend has not turned yet.
