Our view last week
Oracle shares close the week flat, +0.3%, but sellers stay in control beneath the surface: barely 21.5% of last session's volume came in on the buy side, and the distribution phase is deepening. The sell signal, in its fourth week and already more than 23% in the money for the short, lost last week's spike - signal strength drops from 84 to 28 out of 100 - and slides to 50th among the 137 US sell signals.
This week's summary
Oracle's Sell signal has been under management for five weeks, with the short now more than 31% in the money. This week the decline accelerated with a 10.1% drop, cleanly taking out the 7-day low, in the 121.5 area. The picture still shows lower highs from the 154 area down to 134, but the first cracks are showing: seller dominance is fading and buyers stepped back in on volume during the last daily session.
