Our view last week
Buyers are back in force on Schwab U.S. Broad Market ETF: 96% of the week's volume was on the buy side, the highest share in four weeks, and price advanced 1.1%. The attempt to clear the 7-day high, in the 29.2 area, was firmly rejected, while momentum and ADX keep cooling for a third week running - the same thread as last week, only with buyers even more convinced. The trade now sits above 11% in gains.
This week's summary
The buy-sell balance on SCHB, the ETF tracking the broad US stock market, has flipped in a week: after 96% buy volume seven days ago, 79% of this week's trading was on the sell side and price gave back 1.5%, rejected once again from the recent highs. RSI and momentum keep cooling for a third straight week, and money flow, though still positive, is thinning week by week. The trade still holds a gain above 9%.
