SCHE climbs 0.6% as the weekly MACD crosses back above its Signal line
Our view last week
SCHE, the Schwab emerging markets ETF, closes the week down a modest 0.7%, but under the surface the picture is less clean than it looks: 83% of volume flowed to the sell side, a sharp reversal from 98% buy dominance seven days earlier. Price held anyway. Money flow says the opposite: the CMF climbs for a fourth straight week. The buy signal has been under management for 17 weeks, up 2.11%.
This week's summary
After last week's 0.7% dip, Schwab's emerging markets ETF turns higher again: up 0.6%, with buyers back in control of volume, 79% versus 17% seven days earlier. The weekly MACD crosses above its Signal line after five weeks below it, a first sign of a shift in pace. Money flow, which had climbed for four straight weeks, cools off this week: worth watching whether the push holds. The trade has been under management since week 18, up 2.75%.
