Sell signal · week 21
Our view last week
Toyota shares add 0.7% this week and buyers take back control, after sellers had edged ahead on the last daily bar a week ago. Money flow is almost back in positive territory and the weekly RSI climbs to 37.5: signs of a decline losing its edge. The price is now pressing against the Inversion Point, in the 180 area, with the short more than 18% in profit since entry.
This week's summary
Toyota's decline is losing steam but hasn't caved in: after a week that favored buyers, sellers retake control of the tape, nearly triple the buying volume, and money flow slips back into negative territory. The price, though, barely moves, squeezed between a support and a resistance only cents apart, while a double bottom in the 168 area shows a weak 3% bounce underneath. Earnings land this week: expect volatility to pick up.
