UnitedHealth, week 15: the picture is cooling
Our view last week
UnitedHealth Group's weekly technical picture shows another near-flat session (+0.3%), but control is shifting under the surface: sell volume climbs to 75% of trading, up from 50% a week ago. Momentum keeps cooling for a fourth straight week, and money flow, still solidly positive, keeps easing off its recent peak. The weekly ADX, though, is rising and confirms a trend that still carries conviction. Earnings on July 16 are now behind us, with the trade up more than 40%.
This week's summary
UnitedHealth shares stay almost flat (-1.3%) but the tape is shifting underneath: sell volume climbs to 83% of trading, up for a fifth straight week, while weekly money flow, still positive, keeps drifting toward zero. The weekly ADX keeps rising, though, and confirms a trend that hasn't lost its conviction. The buy trade, running for 15 weeks, stays above 38% in gains.
