Brazilian stocks (B3) technical analysis — overall read
The Brazilian basket enters the week with an average IQS Lite of 58.0 across thirty names, and the weight of the setup sits well into extended territory. Nineteen names, 63.3% of the book, occupy the stretched band, a clear majority, and when the mature names are folded in the extended cohort reaches 73.3%, close to three-quarters of the basket. That leaves only a thin compressed contingent, with 16.7% of names carrying the quietest, most coiled profiles. Money flow offers modest confirmation: 56.7% of the names show positive Chaikin Money Flow, a majority but only just over half, which says buying pressure is present without being decisive. The weekly picture is sturdier. Two-thirds of the basket, 66.7%, run a positive weekly MACD, and 60.0% — six in ten — hold a strong weekly EMA structure, so the longer-horizon trend framework is broadly intact. The daily read is where the support thins. Just 50.0% of names show strong daily momentum, an even split, and 30.0% already carry a weak daily EMA structure, a minority but a meaningful one. The composite, then, is a book that has done most of its trending work and now leans on a weekly frame that is still constructive while the daily engine idles.
The tension is concentrated in that stretched band, which is by some margin the most crowded part of the book. When most names cluster where setups are already extended rather than coiled, the basket has less room to surprise from structure alone; gains from here must be earned by fresh money flow rather than by compression unwinding. That is the crux of the divergence worth holding: the weekly architecture, trend direction and longer-horizon flow, remains the stronger of the two frames, while the daily structure has begun to soften beneath it. A book can sustain that split for a while, but rarely does so indefinitely. Either daily momentum re-engages and confirms the weekly trend, pulling the extended names into a cleaner advance, or the daily weakness spreads upward and starts to erode the weekly framework now doing the heavy lifting. For next week, watch whether daily momentum broadens or keeps narrowing, and whether money flow firms enough to justify the crowded extended cohort. Watch the mature names too: late-cycle setups tend to be the first to show strain if the daily deterioration continues. The signal to respect is confirmation between the two timeframes, not either one read on its own.
